INTERCOM SYSTEMS
Intercom systems can be a basic External Audio Panel with a button to ring a phone in the Reception Office or your house. These make up a large percentage of systems as most people after talking with someone are happy to let them in or have decided not to. To let the visitor in you push a button on your phone handset and the Door releases or Gate opens to give them access.
The next up form this is to have a Video system so you can also see who is at your door or gate. Most Video Entry Intercoms today are now a decent sized Touch Screen so you can actually see who is contacting you.
With both Audio and Video Entry Intercoms there are systems that allow calling to your Mobile or landline phones so you don't even have to be at home or in the office to speak with a visitor and then let them in via the door or gate.
